Interview | Response to Intervention (RtI) at School

One of the best parts of my job as an OT is the time I spend working as a school-based consultant. Last week, Jayson Davies of OT School House invited me on his weekly podcast to talk more about my role.

In particular, we discussed my implementation of Response to Intervention (RtI) at the schools that I serve. We also discussed ways OTs can have a positive impact on students' success without ever completing an evaluation or individual intervention. RtI is a growing model in schools and, as OTs, it opens the door for us to make a bigger impact on more students.

Listen to the complete interview to hear Leah and Jayson's discussion of RtI and school-based OT.
